Is it safe to use QR codes in a childcare center?
The code only holds an address. The safe approach is to keep children's names, photos and personal details off the pages the code opens, and to put anything private behind your normal secure parent portal.
Check each printed code from time to time, so nobody replaces it with a sticker pointing elsewhere.
Where should the codes go?
Beside the sign-in desk, on the entrance door, on the parent handbook and on the monthly newsletter. At the door, place the code at adult eye height so children are not scanning it, and print the phone number beside it.
