What you are buying

You pay $3 once for one dynamic QR code. The code opens a page on threedollarqrcode.com that shows your destination and sends visitors there. You also receive a private link, by email and on your order page, that lets you change that destination at any time.

Your destination

You choose where your code goes. You are responsible for that page and for having the right to link to it. We only accept secure web addresses that start with https://, and we do not accept link shorteners or raw IP addresses.

What is not allowed

Do not point a code at anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful. That includes pages that try to steal passwords, payment details, or other personal information, pages that install malware, and pages that pretend to be another person or business.

What we may do

We may turn off a code, remove its edit access, or change what its page shows if it breaks these rules, if we receive a credible report about it, or if we need to protect visitors. A code that is turned off shows a notice instead of sending visitors on.

Your private edit link

The link on your order page lets you change where your code goes. Keep it private: anyone who has it can change your destination. If you lose it, email us and we will see what we can do. You can change a code up to 10 times a day.

Reporting a code

If you think a code is being misused, use the "Report this code" link on its page or email [email protected] with the code's address.

If the service ends

Your code works through our site, so it only works while the site is running. We commit to at least 90 days' notice before any shutdown.

Refunds

If your code doesn't work and we can't fix it, we will refund your $3 when you ask within 7 days of buying it. Email [email protected] with your order page link or your code's address. If you have a different problem with an order, email us and we will see what we can do.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. If you have a problem with an order, email [email protected].
