QR codes for DJs, bands for hire and event entertainers
At an event, guests keep walking up with requests, which can interrupt a set. A sign with a code that opens a request form keeps the music flowing and gives you a list.
The same card can send planners to your packages and calendar.
This is a dynamic QR code: $3 once, and you can change where it points at any time without reprinting. How that works
What should a DJ's QR code open?
Different audiences need different pages.
| Audience | Opens | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Guests | Song request form | Booth sign, table cards |
| Couples and planners | Packages and availability | Business card, brochure |
| Venues | Gear list and references | Email signature, flyer |
How do song requests with a QR code work?
The code opens a form you set up, which collects the request and the guest's name. You decide which to play. Add a line stating that requests are not guaranteed.
Where should the sign go?
On the front of the booth at a height where guests can scan from a step or two, at least 10 cm (4 inches) square. Dim lighting means you should use a lit sign or keep the code large and dark on white.
Example signs
Each example code opens threedollarqrcode.com. Your code can open any page you choose.
