What is the best use of QR codes in an office?
Think of every question reception hears repeatedly, and put a code where the question comes up.
- Meeting room door: opens the room's booking page.
- Printer: opens the driver and troubleshooting guide.
- Kitchen: opens house rules and cleaning rota.
- Front desk: opens visitor check-in or the building directory.
Is it safe to put a Wi-Fi password behind a QR code?
The code itself is just an address. A guest page with a password is as private as the sign it is on, so use a separate guest network, rotate the password on a schedule and never share your main office network.
How big should an office sign code be?
On a card held in the hand, 3 cm (1.2 inches). On a wall sign read from a metre away, about 10 cm (4 inches). Place it away from glass reflections and glossy surfaces.

Can the code join Wi-Fi directly?
Our code opens a web page. For one-tap joining, a special Wi-Fi code from a free generator also works, but it cannot be edited later.
What if the password changes monthly?
Update the page the code opens. The reception card never changes.
Can different rooms have different codes?
Yes, one code per room if you want separate scan counts.
Do visitors need an app?
No.
